New regional exhibition at IMAGO Gallery explores the many dimensions of night through art, poetry, and film.
NOCTURNAL is a juried regional exhibition featuring artwork by 35 guest artists and IFA’s exhibiting artists, with poems by 15 poets installed throughout the gallery — each exploring the relationship between darkness and illumination. The visual art spans landscapes, interiors, dreams, rituals, city life, natural cycles, and the inner landscape of the mind.
The exhibition is juried by Leigh Tarentino, Associate Professor of Visual Art at Brown University, with cash awards sponsored by IFA and the Jay Barry Cultural Arts Foundation.
