Congratulations to all Finishers in yesterdays race! - Different goals, different levels of commitment to the sport of Triathlon makes for a great mix of Athletes and the entire staff of the Hopkins Vineyard Triathlon appreciates you all.

1st Overall for the Women was Megan Lynch
and
1st Overall for the Men was Hans Schneider.

Somewhat a highlight of the morning was participant Richmond Le who graciously offered to sing the National Anthem.. he was 1st wave no less! Cell coverage not great there and couldn't pull up the Anthem, so had to improvise. Nice that you all sang along too, Rich did a great job, thank you kindly young man! :)

The Hopkins Vineyard Triathlon is on Saturday July 11, 2026. It includes the following events: Sprint Tri and Sprint Tri Relay.

John Adams had this right -- Happy 4th of July! - Elija Hopkins served during the Revolutionary War, that's somewhat how the Hopkins Vineyard eventually came into being!

"Oldest 100K in the United States" 52 years old for 2026, much respect! Thank you Rob Scott and Bill Odendahl for ushering it through these past... several years. (not certain of the lineage prior) Still, quite a feat to keep ANY event going this long. Next Sunday, April 26, 2026. I'll be around, post here if you're running!
