"I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Terrance for 20 years, and it was almost an instant friendship from the moment we met. That’s my brother for real. Anybody who knows Terrance knows how calm and cool his spirit is. He’s the type of person who will give you advice from an unbiased perspective, tell you exactly how he sees it, and even if you decide to go a completely different direction, he’s still going to support you through it. No judgment. No “I told you so.” Just love and support. That’s something I’ve always appreciated about him. When it comes to Round 1 Gaming Lab, his sacrifice does not go unnoticed. This man already works two jobs and STILL answers the phones, pulls up to the trailer, works events, handles business, and continues helping us build this thing. Watching what we’ve created together and seeing the amount of work he puts into it means more than I could ever fully put into a caption. Fun fact for anybody who didn’t know, Terrance is a twin too 😂 so Happy Birthday to him too. More importantly, he’s a great father, a great partner, an incredible friend, and one of the best Godbrothers anybody could ask for. Love you to death, bro. We’re out in Eastpointe RIGHT NOW for the Back to School Wellness Fair with the Macomb Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 🎮❤️

This is the kind of community event we love being part of. Free backpacks, resources, food, music, games, families everywhere, and Round 1 posted up giving the kids somewhere to play while everybody gets ready to start the school year strong.

Big love to Macomb Alumnae Chapter, , the Delta Fortitude Foundation, all of the vendors, volunteers, and everybody who helped put this together for the community.

We’re here until 3 PM at Love Life Family Christian Center, 17363 Toepfer Dr. in Eastpointe. Pull up, grab some resources, let the kids have some fun, and come see us on the trailer.

Detroit, tap in with this one!!! We’re booked with Round 1 events on the 27th and throughout the weekend, so unfortunately we won’t be able to pull up ourselves, BUT we absolutely wanted to help spread the word about Ride 4 Unity.

has shown Round 1 Gaming Lab a lot of love and support over the years, and we’ve seen firsthand the work they continue to do for entrepreneurs, organizations, and our city. So when BLD has something moving, we’re going to make sure our people know about it.

Every year y’all say Call of Duty is dead and every year somehow everybody is online at the same damn time 😂

Modern Warfare 4 beta starts TOMORROW. Early access runs August 21 through August 25, then the open beta hits August 28 through September 1 with no preorder required. This year even Switch 2 players get in on the open beta. The full game drops October 23. So here comes the annual test. Is this finally the Call of Duty that pulls everybody back in, or are we about to play for three weeks, complain about skill based matchmaking, uninstall it, then secretly reinstall it two days later?

Who is running the beta?

Activision confirms early access begins August 21, the open beta runs August 28 through September 1, and Modern Warfare 4 launches October 23 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch 2.

Marvel’s Wolverine is almost here.

Insomniac already proved what they can do with Spider Man, and now they get Logan with claws, blood, rage, and a game built specifically for PS5. And one thing I actually like about this one? It is NOT open world. It’s a single player, story driven action game, which means hopefully we get a focused story without 700 map icons asking us to collect Wolverine’s missing cigar wrappers. The question now is simple. Does Wolverine have a chance to be better than the Spider Man games? Because expectations are HIGH.

Man… GTA VI cannot keep NOTHING secret 😭 More alleged gameplay footage has leaked online ahead of Rockstar’s official extended look next week, and people are already dissecting every frame. The footage appears to show Jason doing things like playing basketball, driving, fighting, stealing vehicles, and moving around Leonida. Other reports are pointing to things like a possible six star wanted level, stamina and focus systems, vehicle fuel or engine information, and even some kind of morality or karma mechanic. But here’s the part people need to remember. Some of this footage may be from an older build, possibly dating back to 2024, so what we are seeing might not represent the finished game at all. Rockstar is already taking leaked clips down, and their OFFICIAL extended look is coming August 27. Are y’all watching the leaks, or are you trying to go into GTA VI as blind as possible?

School is getting back in session, but Round 1 Gaming Lab is definitely NOT going anywhere. Back to school celebrations, fall festivals, Halloween events, church events, school incentives, birthdays, corporate events, holiday parties… now is the time to start locking those dates in. And yes, when Michigan starts acting like Michigan again, WE STILL OPERATE. ALL WINTER LONG! Our trailer is heated, comfortable, and built to keep the games going through the colder months. Winter birthdays do not have to mean everybody packed inside your house trying to figure out what to do with 20 kids 😂

We operate year round and 24/7, and dates can fill up quickly, especially weekends. So if you already know something is coming up this fall or winter, don’t wait until two weeks before the event and hope your date is still open. Tap in early. Let us pull up. We’ll handle the rest!

We’re out here at the Occupy the Summer: Summer Fridays FINALE, and Detroit absolutely showed up.

The kids are everywhere. The music is going. Families are outside. Backpacks and school supplies are moving. Food, bounce houses, performances, resources, and the Round 1 trailer has been BUSY.

This is exactly how you close out a summer.

Big love to Mayor Mary Sheffield, Occupy the Summer, City of Detroit, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Detroit, Metro Detroit Youth Day, and everybody who helped make this whole summer run happen.

We’ve been blessed to be part of so many of these events this year, and tonight feels like the perfect way to bring it home.

Yeah… well duh 😂

Take Two says GTA VI preorders are actually skewing toward the $100 premium edition instead of the $80 standard edition. Strauss Zelnick did add that the earliest buyers are probably the most hardcore GTA fans, so that could be part of why the pricier version is leading right now.

But still.

People have been waiting on this game for YEARS. At this point, $20 is not stopping the folks who already know they are going to live in Vice City for the next decade.

That is exactly why publishers keep testing higher price points. When the biggest game on the planet drops, the hardcore audience is going to pay for the version with the most stuff.

The real question is not whether people will pay $100.

It is whether $100 starts becoming normal for every big release after GTA VI proves people will do it.

You grabbing the $80 version, the $100 version, or waiting for a sale?
