The Craft Room is an art/craft studio where you can sign up for classes, private or group art lessons, have birthday parties and group outings and more. We are also interested in offering creative opportunities for the Special Needs Community, either in private or small group settings. I definitely need a new polishing pad. Oh heck! I want a new machine!! Trying to hold out until the rock show in October. I worked out a deal to get a discount on a pre-order machine that I can demo with at the show before bringing it back to the studio…..if I can wait that long….

Been working on a challenging piece. Written instructions are for the birds….like trying to direct a blindfolded driver how to drive. I’m so thankful for this new symbol method of crochet instructions….and the ability to email the pattern creator!

‘Devotion’ by Julia Hart

This is, by far, the most difficult piece I’ve ever completed …and I almost gave up. I kept getting lost on the first arm. I think the directions had some flaws…then the creator told me to look at and follow the pictures instead.

Well…I made a little mess after class today. Can’t stand to see a good seedling go to waste. The plants in the styrofoam cups are left over from a couple of weeks ago when my specials potted up some plants for their garden. Hope they all do well. The first batch has all new leaves on them already….at least on the poppy mallow and Turks cap.
