An evening at goes like this: world-class chamber music in an intimate mountainside hall, a chef-prepared dinner shared with fellow listeners, and Allegheny stars waiting when the music lets out.

Make it a full getaway: the Manor House and Giles Cottage sleep guests right on the 114-acre property, steps from the hall.

Before there was a nation, there were these waters.
Travelers have been "taking the waters" at the Warm Springs Pools since the 1760s — Thomas Jefferson among them, who came seeking relief for his rheumatism and left a believer.

Today, the historic bathhouses still fill with the same warm, mineral-rich water, rising clear from the mountain.

Here's to the next 250 years.
