It is exactly one week until show day and regular classes are officially over. Looking back on all the moments that made my vision come true is surreal!

Skit recording day is long and tiring but in the end we all do it because we love it. Musical theatre has become one of our most popular class because we put on a full theatrical performance. Our student live for the action, the auditions, the getting into character and putting on a play.

This year we got an upgrade from phone recordings thanks to a dedicated dance dad with all the tools! Looking back on this day makes me so much more excited to bring our show to the stage!

💜✨💚 It’s Almost time for the big day! June 27th at 12:30 will be our Production of Magical Beasts! We will be on stage at the New Bedford Vocational high School!

💚These students have been working so hard on this show not just with their dance routines but with a full cast theatrical production!

✨Tickets are for sale at $22 if you pre purchase and $25 at the door!

💜 We will have concessions, baked goods, build your own bouquet station and a gift shop all supported by local small business vendors!

💜✨💚 We’re still keeping an eye out for the perfect match to join our dance community! We’re in search of an instructor for our beginner level (age 3-5) Wisp students!

Must have a fun personality, patience to work with small children, experience in basic tap, ballet, jazz, tumble and hip hop!

We have a tap and ballet combo class, a jazz and tumble combo class and a stand alone hip-hop class. Recital tickets are for sale! On June 27th our students will be showing off all of their hard work at New Bedford VOC High school!

Come support the Magic Soles Performers in their production of “Magical beasts”, a rendition of the movie “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”

We will be following Newt Skamander on his adventures through America and meeting new wizards, muggles and magical creatures along the way!

Tickets are $22 each and can’t be guaranteed to be available at the door.

✨💜💚✨Well.. that is a wrap on our last competition of season 2! As predicted it is a very bitter sweet moment. We are all tired. And ready to switch gears for recital time but there is something so hard about retiring competition numbers.

These routines are picked specifically for the dancers and it shows. Their energy sky rockets when they get to go from comp to comp and do better and better each time. Their comp routines become a part of them! I have already been planning ideas for next season and can’t wait to begin them but retiring the current ones really hits in an emotional way.

Today we competed at Work It Dance challenge and we absolutely loved this competition! They are so fun and have so many opportunities and special awards to be had! I really think they saw Magic Soles Studio of Performing Arts in our uniqueness!

This weekend we celebrated one of our team member’s, Luna’s, birthday as the dance family we are at Hungry Pot, watched a student with a broken toe go out on stage worried she wouldn’t be able to do her best and absolutely crush it, had cupcakes, played, games, through fake money in the air, and so much more. The memories are countless and I couldn’t be more proud of these kids!

All of our routines placed in overalls, scoring all “Work it Platinums” and “High Platinums” which are the top two highest scoring brackets for our division. Three routines were awarded National Dance Battle invites and a handful of other recognitions!

We found dancers that had never danced before, dancers who were not appreciated at other studios and dancers who have been dancing their whole life and put them all together in a big, happy, magical family and they work so amazingly together. I would not change my dance family for the world!

So congrats on completing our studios 2nd competitive season ever!

✨It’s recital Season again! And we are taking Ad orders for our annual recital program book! ✨

✨Programs are passed out to all attendees of our production on June 27th. They are free to anyone who has purchased a ticket! They will reach the eyes of all the parents, family members and friends who come to support our students.✨

✨purchasing an Ad for your business or as a shout out to a student helps to raise funds for our show. It helps off set costs for venue rental, program printing, ticket printing, ect.✨

✨Ads are all in full color and can be purchased as full pages, half pages, quarter pages or “love lines.” A love line is a text only section for a performer. It is typically a sentence or two shout out.✨

✨If you own a business or know someone who does please consider placing an add to support our dance community. If you are a parent, family member or friend who would like to publish a student ad please comment below or message directly✨

💜💚💜 The time has arrived! And it’s so bitter sweet! Early Registration for Season 3 has begun!

💜💚💜 we have a few months left until our recital and I will be so sad to see the curtain close! Our students have worked so hard all season! I couldn’t be more excited to see them show off all of their hard work but will also be a little sad to end our Magical Beasts adventure!

💜💚💜 Registration for our next season (Season 3) is now open for existing and new families! Registration is $35 per student with $5 off additional students within the same family! After our recital on June 27th registration will become $45 per student.

💜💚💜 Season 3 will be offering all of our current genres but we excitedly announce the addition of Vocal (singing) Coaching, as well as, Pageant Coaching!
