County Players Community Theatre in Wappingers Falls, NY since 1958. County Players was born in 1958. Clearly, they share our belief that we provide excellent theatre.

During our lifetime, we have presented over 200 productions and have served thousands of theatergoers who continue to reward our efforts with their loyal attendance. In 1977, we acquired the old Academy Theatre in the Village of Wappingers Falls, and through countless hours of volunteer efforts, we have turned a crumbling relic into a living theatre – The County Players Falls Theatre. We paid off our mortgage, continue to make improvements to our building, and still manage to keep our prices at an affordable level. Our promise for the future is to continue on the path of fiscal responsibility, theatrical improvement, and entertainment! Mission: To delight, educate, and challenge the community and to nurture creative expression, through theatre and the performing arts of the highest quality. Matching Grants and Tax Benefits: You or your spouse may work for a company which will match your contribution. Please obtain your
company’s grant form and send it with your completed subscription form. Additionally, you may qualify for a tax deduction. County Players is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. All contributions are deductible to the extent provided by law. Please remember County Players in your will and estate plans.

Learn what happened to Abigail Williams ten years after she danced in the weird woods of Salem in Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. Set after the Salem witch trials, Abigail Williams, the former accuser who sent twenty people to their deaths, is living under an assumed name near Boston, seeking redemption. To escape her past, she must first make peace with the woman she wronged most.

In this hilarious, twisted take on the holiday classic, it’s one year after A Christmas Carol and Scrooge has returned to his miserly ways… The Ghosts of Christmas are on trial for breaking and entering, kidnapping, slander, pain and suffering, attempted murder, and the intentional infliction of emotional distress as Scrooge rants and raves to the court.
