Still trying to accurately articulate just how amazing Recital wknd was! The only word that keeps coming to mind is magical. All 3 shows were truly magical and the nostalgia in the auditorium was palpable. We had a clear vision to honor and represent all 50 wonderful years of the Studio. Trying to squeeze all of that into 1 recital was a tall task, but I can proudly say WE DID IT! Our extremely talented teaching team chose such great songs and costume choices and choreographed outstanding pieces that took us all on a journey. Our dancers totally rose to the occasion and delivered performances that were next level. The smiles radiating off the stage exuded pure joy. We’re beyond impressed and proud of them and may have even shed a tear or two because their performances moved us so much.

Thank you to the fantastic group of alumni who came back and graced the stage for the 50th show! The audience clearly loved seeing their former teachers who have helped shaped the Studio into what it is and their dance friends who have continued to support us for years. You still got it!

Many thanks to Lori, Jesse, Tessa, Sebastian, and Roz for getting all the technical aspects of the show on point. Our teachers, adult dancers, and class helpers ran the smoothest ship backstage (that is the show behind the show.) Their experience and fast thinking make this all possible. Thank you to all of the high school and middle school dancers who also lended a helping hand even though they had their own busy recitals to dance in.

Lastly, our 50th recital was lovingly dedicated to Joanne Peros Sinerate. She opened the Studio 50 years ago and through her passion, creativity, and unwavering commitment to her students she inspired countless dancers to work hard and do what they love. Her presence will always be felt at the Studio and on stage with us ❤️

CONGRATULATIONS to all on an absolutely unforgettable recital and thank you to everyone who has taken the time to express how much they loved each show. We are all “GOLDEN!” 🎉🎉
