"Alone in our 200 year old house one windy, chilly night, I nestled on the couch under a pile of blankets, wondering if I'd win this round with Covid. I looked out the window, lashed with rain, trying to glimpse a light in my neighbor's kitchen window so I could shake off the heaviness that had settled on my shoulders. Unbidden, a thought flashed through my brain: in the long life of this house, how many others had struggled for breath? How many had lost the battle? The storm answered the question by shrieking at me through the old, wavy glass panes. At precisely that moment, all the lights went out." - Anonymous

Do you remember a goosebumpy moment or something inexplicable that always made you wonder? Pitch me your story for the Fall Wee WaW! Tickets on sale at wearewaltham.com

Tomorrow (Saturday, June 20th) come to Waltham RiverBeat booth 42 on the Moody Street Bridge for some live story crafting! What is this, you ask? YOU - get to sink into a chair and share a short personal story and watch as a The Waltham Times journalist helps you develop it by examining the facts. Then a We are Waltham coach steps in and helps you find meaningful insights and messages. Learn the art of effective communication from these organizations that are both committed to unearthing the human experiences that hide within facts. Who knows - you may just come away with a story of your own that ready for the stage or the next Thanksgiving party. :-)
