Meet the instructor: Abby Smithee Daniels

🧘‍♀️Our Yoga teacher, Abby, was born and raised in Paragould; moved to Lawrence County after high school to go to work in 2018. She has been with FNB of Commerce ever since! She lives in Hoxie with her wife Dancy and their three VERY spoiled fur babies.🐶🐶🐶

🧘‍♀️Abby got certified in a 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training program with her sister in 2025. Her yoga journey started out at Nirvana in Jonesboro, and that is also where she received my training.

🧘‍♀️She is currently working towards adding another 100 HRs to her resume this year! Since Yoga is a practice, there is always more to learn.

Favorite Pose:
Salamba Sirsasana - Headstands!! 🤪

Least Favorite Pose:
Utkatasana - Chair pose…😩

Hardest Pose that I have conquered:
Savasana - Co**se Pose (laying still is hard!)😅

🤍Abby’s Why for teaching:
“I was so drawn into the energy of my first ever yoga class that I knew I had found my home. I could tell that this practice was powerful, and I knew I had the chance to share this experience with other people if I became a teacher. That was one of the best decisions I ever made for myself!”🤍

Meet our Instructor: Alexa 🥁❤️🥁

💗She is a Deputy Clerk for Lawrence Co. District Court. Alexa lives with her husband Jason, step daughter Maddy and dog 🐶Cricket. She also has a son, Thomas, step daughter, Lily and son in law, Joel.

Alexa enjoys a good audio book and a sweet treat. 🎂🍩🍪

👵🏻She previously worked for the East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging and taught health/wellness classes. She has lost 70lbs over the past year and has prioritized her health. ⚕️
During her time with E4A, our girl was certified in water aerobics and PACE with the Arthritis Foundation, Strong Woman, Drums Alive, Health Rhythms and Diabetes and Chronic Disease Self Management.
🏃‍♀️‍➡️Over the past year, she has developed a love for running. She hates 😖lunges, always has and always will!

💞When asked why she teaches, Alexa said, “I love teaching the Kids Drums Alive classes because I’m a big kid at heart myself and love to watch the kids come alive and their individual personalities come out.” 🫶🫶 if you have kids, they would absolutely love this class!
