Our summer campers are diving into their art projects, discovering new skills, and filling each day with creativity and imagination. It’s been an incredible start, and there’s so much more art‑filled fun ahead.

We’re continuing to raise funds for camp scholarships so more young artist have the chance to join us this summer. If you’re able to give, donations of any amount help us keep camp accessible and welcoming for all.

Summer camp is officially underway, and our studios are already buzzing with creativity, color, and happy campers! It’s been an inspiring start and we looking forward to 7 more weeks of art‑filled adventures ahead.

Join us for our upcoming Preschool Open House dates at Heather Farm and Shadelands!

Families interested in learning more about our preschool classes for Summer 2026 and School Year 2026-27 are welcome to join us for an hour of preschool activities and connection.

Preschool Open House will take place on Tuesday, June 9 - 12:00 - 1:00 pm (Heather Farm) or Wednesday, June 17 - 12:00 - 1:00 pm (Shadelands). Explore our classroom, play in our outdoor space, and meet our wonderful teachers. We look forward to sharing our creative community with you!

Summer camp is just a few weeks away, and we can’t wait to welcome young artists into our studios! Together with the Community Arts Foundation, we’re working to ensure every child who wants to create, explore, and make memories at art camp has the chance to do so.

Meet Community Arts Teaching Artist Nicolette Aarons! Nicolette brings a deep passion for theatre and dance to our community! A graduate of CSU Chico, Nicolette earned her Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts (Production) and minors in Photographic Studies, Theatre Arts, and Dance. Theater has been a part of Nicolette's life from a young age. "When I was a kid [my mom] constantly let me create and pushed me to grow, practice and fail in all kinds of art while still being supportive." Nicolette has continued her love for theater as a camp counselor and teacher for the last 8 years in various camps. Her teaching style consists of getting all the kids creatively involved and teaching them about all the different aspects that go into live theatre. Nicolette strives to create a safe space where all the kids feel comfortable expressing themselves and learn how theatre is a team effort. Nicolette will be teaching Theater Camp 1 and Theater Camp 2 this summer.
