“Spontaneous Mind over Matter” is an improvised theater group created by Spontaneous Mind, aimed at raising both funds and awareness for various charitable partners while showcasing the talents of local improv performers. Giving back to the community is a central part of the troupe. While paying forward is important, they also seek to provide a creative outlet for improvisational artists to innova

te and grow. Act II improv has focused on long-form scene based improvisation, such as The Harold, and a unique piece they developed called "Causing a Scene". Frequent visitors to their productions coined the phrase "... dramatically comedic" to describe how they weave their humor and unscripted reality.
