🦋 Creativity, imagination, and a little art material magic.

One of my favorite parts of teaching children is seeing how differently each artist approaches the same theme. In one class, students explored butterflies and insects, then brought their ideas to life with watercolor and line. During Crafternoon today, a student created this!

No two artworks are alike—and that's exactly the point. Art helps children practice observation, creative thinking, decision-making, and confidence while having fun in the process.

One of my favorite things about the studio is the quiet focus that settles over the room when everyone is working.

People arrive with different interests, experiences, events, and projects, yet for a few hours we share the same space – observing, experimenting, learning, and creating.

There’s something special about making art alongside others. Even in the quiet moments, community is taking shape.
