The Wallace-Rose Hill Diamond Dogs in conjunction with House of Raeford’s F.L.O.C.K and the Wallace Parks and Recreation will put on a free baseball camp for players ages 4-14. Local high school coaches and players will help get our young players ready for the upcoming season. Camp is scheduled for Sat., March 10 and Sun., March 11 at the Wallace-Rose Hill High School. The schedule is as follows:
TBall (ages 4-6) 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm
Baseball (ages 7-14) 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm
Pitching (ages 7-14) 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm

Campers will need a glove for the camp. Campers are encouraged to attend all sessions that are in their age range. For more info please contact Kevin Hager at [email protected] or the WPRD.

Baseball and softball signups are going fast. We are in need of more softball players ages 7-8 and 11-12 years of age. We are still taking baseball signups as well, but space is limited. If interested please signup at the park office ASAP!

Online signups for baseball and softball will close tonight, Monday, Feb 19, at midnight. If you miss the online cutoff, signups will be accepted in the park office as long as spots are available. Once teams fill up, players will be placed on a waiting list. Signup online at

Dixie Youth Baseball/Softball registration is now open! Online registration is open from Monday, Jan. 29-Monday, Feb. 19. In person registration may be completed at the park office located at 120 Medical Village Drive, Wallace, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Baseball playing age is as of May 1, 2018. Softball playing age is as of Jan. 1, 2018. Age groups offered are:

East Carolina Pirates Youth Sports Day
ECU vs. UCONN-Sunday, Feb. 18 at 3:00 p.m at Minges Coliseum in Greenville, NC.
