Last month, young musicians spent a week at Jump Start Orchestra Camp getting back into the swing of things before school started.

Now we’re getting ready for the next step: the fall semester of Walla Walla Symphony Youth Orchestra.

WWSYO gives students a chance to make music together in a full orchestra, with two ensembles designed for different experience levels.

Crescendo is for developing musicians who are ready to keep building their skills and confidence.

Virtuoso is for more experienced musicians who are ready for challenging music and new opportunities to grow.

Fall rehearsals begin August 31.

Volunteering with the Walla Walla Symphony is a great way to meet new people, be part of local events, and help make concerts and community programs happen.

You don’t need to be a musician or even know much about classical music to join us.

Jump Start Orchestra Camp Concert Today! 🎻🎶

After a week of making music together, the students of the Walla Walla Symphony's Jump Start Orchestra Camp are ready to share what they've accomplished.

Jump Start gives young musicians the opportunity to build their skills, make new friends, and kick off the school year with confidence through a week of rehearsals, sectionals, and musical growth under the direction of Bruce Walker.

Join us today at 3:00 PM for their free culminating performance in the Pioneer Middle School Commons. Come celebrate the hard work of these talented students and help send them into the new school year inspired and ready to make music!

Rock Camp 2026 is in full swing with this amazing group leading the way.

💡 Fun fact: some of our faculty started out as Rock Camp participants. They loved the program so much, they came back to help lead it for the next generation of students.

Come support this year’s students at the Rock Camp 2026 Concert on Friday, July 17 at 5:30 PM at the Walla Walla Community College Performing Arts Center. Admission is free. 🎸🤘

The Rock Camp 2026 shirts are here 🤘

Next week, students will spend five days learning, playing, and building their sound together.

Come cheer them on at the Rock Camp 2026 Concert on Friday, July 17 at 5:30 PM in the Walla Walla Community College Performing Arts Center.

It’s free to attend, and your support helps make the final concert even more fun for these young musicians.
