This is the last weekend to see Brushed by Feathers, our August feature from Member Artist Katherine Wildermuth. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re in for a treat — a wall full of watercolor happiness! If you’ve been considering one of the paintings, now’s the time! This show is on view until Sunday.

Celebrate 7 years with us at our annual Member Show!
Exhibit dates: September 3–27
Meet the artists at the Artist Reception: Friday, September 4, 4–6 p.m.

The show will include work from all current artist members including Lauri Borer, Kathleen Casteel, Shelia Coe, Diane Corbett, Kassandra Fluckiger, Bonnie Griffith, Anne Haley, Tricia Harding, Gary Meddaugh, Rachelle Moore, Rod Peterson, Matthew Pierce, Kris Stewart, Kathryn Wildermuth, Dianna Woolley, Lynn Woolson, and artists from The Refinery: Jess Portas, Cait Olsen, Ashley Trout, Michelle Jenkins, and Marriam Motamedi.

The artists work in a diverse range of mediums, including watercolor, oil, acrylic, and encaustic painting; ceramics; metal sculpture; fiber arts; book and paper arts; and collage. With such a broad variety of styles and mediums, visitors are sure to find artwork that appeals to a wide range of tastes and interests.

August is your last chance to see Darin Yates’ vibrant artwork in the gallery. Darin is best known for his colorful horses, animals, and native American
figurative work that blends realism with colorful backgrounds in acrylics on canvas.

Darin finds his inspiration by going on photography trips to the southwest - Sedona and Arizona in particular. Hiking into canyons and trails and then looking through his photos when he gets back to his studio. From Darin: “The magic of painting them comes when I sit down at the easel and imagine the painting in my head with bright colors and loose brush strokes. I’ve been doing art my whole life and nothing makes me happier than to move someone with my art.”

Have you heard the exciting news? The Refinery The Refinery is now a member artist at Combine Art Collective, enhancing our displays of both ceramics and jewelry! Their members will rotate through showing their work.

The first group of Refinery members to exhibit are Cait Cait Olson , Ashley potterywalla , Marriam Marriam , Jess JP Pottery , and Michelle Michelle . Be sure to look for their work next time you stop by!
