Hi, all. Here is my latest painting. It is an 18" x 18" deep canvas. The artwork is a textured painting of a single flower with five large petals, predominantly white with subtle orange and brown shading near the center. The petals have raised, grooved lines adding dimension and depth. The center of the flower is a darker, concentrated area, grounding the composition. A green stem with four prominent leaves extends downward and to the side, contrasting sharply against the pale background. The entire piece has a tactile, almost sculptural quality due to the thick application of paint.

Here is another textured acrylic painting that has wonderful colors. It is 18" square and is framed in a floater frame. The artwork presents a stylized butterfly with delicate wings rendered primarily in shades of light blue and white. The butterfly's wings are outlined with thin golden lines that give the form definition and a touch of elegance. The background consists of textured, layered paint featuring a mix of blue and white tones, creating a luminous, glowing effect around the butterfly. The overall composition highlights the ethereal and fragile beauty of the butterfly, with a sense of depth emphasized by the textured surface and subtle color gradient moving from dark at the edges to light near the center. I wish the photographs showed the texture better.

This is a nice 12" x 12" framed original painting that was created with molding clay and acrylic paint. The artwork is a textured painting featuring two large floral motifs with five petals each, rendered in a monochromatic white color. The petals have prominent, raised vein details that give the flowers a three-dimensional effect. The background has a subtle, vertical-striated texture with varying shades of off-white and light grey, providing depth and contrast to the petals. Perfect for Mother's Day. I painted this vase a while ago and decided to embellish it. I molded some little flowers, painted them, and attached them to the vase. The result is transformative and sweet. Hope you like it as much as I do.

I'm walking on air. Four of my paintings have been accepted by Lacombe Art Guild's Brushstrokes and Beyond Spring Art Show to be held April 24th - May 8th 2026.
