The Eiffel Tower in Paris is 1,083 feet tall. Ours was 14 feet. But ours was made out of BALLOONS. 😉🎈🇫🇷

So naturally, we think she deserves a little recognition too.

For Delta Gamma’s “Oui Oui Dee Gee” LSU Bid Day, we brought a little Paris to Baton Rouge with a custom 14-foot balloon Eiffel Tower surrounded by pastel balloon décor, two-story garlands, balloon pearls and the sweetest French-inspired details. 💕🥐

A few Eiffel Tower fun facts while you swipe:

🇫🇷 The original Eiffel Tower was completed in 1889.
✨ It was built for the 1889 World’s Fair in Paris.
🎨 The tower has been repainted many times throughout its history.
🎈 And as far as we know… Gustave Eiffel never tried building one out of balloons. 😂

More than 100 new Delta Gamma members walked into this celebration on LSU Bid Day—and THAT’S what made this whole scene come alive.

This is the kind of balloon work we absolutely LOVE: taking an idea and figuring out how to build something people don’t expect balloons to be able to do.
