Wow!! What a run, what a wonderful run!! As much as I hated to see the Busted Wedding Belles leave the Walhalla Civic Auditorium, I waved goodbye, grateful beyond measure, for the cast, director, crew and venue that allowed me to fulfill a dream in such a beautiful way. Thank you to each Belle, you brought electricity to the stage for every performance. Jimmy O. Burdette, you are something! You don't like to be in the spotlight, but too bad....you are! You are gifted, dedicated, and doing what you are meant to do. I will never forget these weeks, what it was like to see my characters on paper become living, breathing, real women that everyone in the audience loved and rooted for. For everyone who saw the show, thank you so much for your support! I was OVERWHELMED........from a happy, thankful writer..... :)

This week has flown by so fast, it's hard to believe, but the Belles are back in town tonight at 8 pm at the Walhalla Civic Auditorium! If you haven't seen this talented group of actresses, please make your plans to attend Busted Wedding Belles this weekend. Friday and Saturday at 8 pm and Sunday at 2:30. I can't possibly say enough about this gifted group of women, Gail Brown, Kim Broome, Paula Doolittle, Sybil Todd, and Sarah Duvall. They have breathed life into these characters and developed them in special and beautiful ways. Come to the show this weekend and see for yourself the talent we have right here on our local stage!

I cannot tell you how special this weekend turned out to be! The play I wrote, "Busted Wedding Belles", made its world premier at Walhalla Civic Auditorium and was received better than I could have possibly imagined! The actresses did a phenomenal job, and i am so overwhelmed watching the voices in my head come to life on stage! If you haven't already made plans to attend, I would love to see each of you there! Spring is a beautiful, but relentless competitor, so if you have a couple of hours to relax and chill, I would be so appreciative if you chose to do so with us as the World Premier of Busted Wedding Belles continues this weekend at Walhalla Civic Auditorium, Friday, May 1 and Saturday May 2 at 8 pm, and Sunday at 2:30 pm. Thank you, and I hope to see you there!

The belles in Busted Wedding Belles got a standing ovation yesterday afternoon from an incredible audience! The chemistry between the belles and the audience was electric and everything came together beautifully! I think I have a small clue as to what it feels like to be a proud mommy!!!! Thank you to the marvelous cast, crew, our fearless leader and director Jimmy O. Burdette, and to all who came and made this a very special opening weekend!!!
