Our late summer pizza hours are here!

As we transition out of our peak season, we’re settling into a new rhythm at The Captains Crust. We’ve streamlined our hours so we can focus on making great pizza and giving you the best experience when you visit.

New Captains Crust Hours:
Wednesday-Friday: 3-7 pm
Saturday-Sunday: 12-8 pm
Monday - Tuesday: Closed

Same wood-fired oven. Same sourdough crust. Same Captains Crust. Just a little more intentional about when we fire it up! 🔥 🍕

Thanks for spending part of your summer with us at Treasure Bay. We can’t wait to keep the pizzas coming as we head into fall!

The Captains Crust is taking a little extra time to get fired up today! 🔥 🍕 We’ll be opening at 2pm as we make a few behind the scenes adjustments and get ready for our new seasonal schedule. Next week, we’ll be shifting our pizza service hours as we settle into our late-summer rhythm. Thanks for rolling with us as we fine tune things!

Beach, Bikes & Blues

Something fun is coming to Treasure Bay!

Beach, Bikes & Blues is happening Saturday, September 12th, and while Treasure Bay will be closed to the general public that day, everyone is welcome to join us for the event!

Admission is $10 for adults and free for anyone 18 and under. Bring the family, bring your friends, bring your bike — and yes, dogs are welcome too!

The Bonsai Course will still be open and playable during the event, but pups will need to sit that one out and stay off the course.

So if you’re planning to come visit Treasure Bay that day, plan accordingly — or better yet, come join in the fun!

The Captains Crust @ Treasure Bay Resort is closer to the water than the road. We’re nestled right up against the bay—a little hidden gem just off the beaten path.
It’s worth the hunt, though.
We’re super proud to be putting out some seriously good-looking (and even better-tasting) pizzas. Come see what everyone’s talking about, grab yourself a pizza, and plunder a slice or two while you’re here.

Ahoy from the Captains Crust at Treasure Bay!

Ask and ye shall receive - stoked to run our take on the most controversial pizza in history: the Hawaiian or what we’re calling “The Haole”

Canadian Bacon, pineapple, red onions and da sauce - wood fired in minutes and available til it runs out.

Fun fact for all you pizza nerds out there - the Hawaiian wasn’t invented in Hawaii. Sam Panopoulos - a Greek immigrant who moved to Canada - created it in 1962 at his restaurant in Chatham, Ontario. Experimenting with a sweet and savory combo.

Not exactly Neapolitan tradition - but here we are 🙂

Hospitality Superstar Wanted

We’re looking for a couple hospitality superstars to join our tight-knit team at Treasure Bay.

We want a host with the most - someone who naturally notices when someone needs a hand, enjoys making people feel welcome, and isn’t afraid to go the extra mile. Hospitality to us means more than taking orders or checking people out. It’s about creating a great experience, paying attention to the little things, jumping in when something needs to be done, and making people glad they stopped by.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Is outgoing and genuinely enjoys working with the public
• Is a team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed
• Has their OLCC card and Food Handler’s card
• Takes pride in doing things well
• Understands that sometimes the little extra effort makes all the difference

This role will help support both our Camp Store and Captains Crust pizza operations as we slowly scale our business and prepare to welcome more travelers.

We’re building this thing as we go, and we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of the team—not just fill a shift.

A LITTLE GROWING PAIN 🤍🍕

The Captains Crust is proud to serve dough from our friends at Pacific Sourdough Bakery right here in Waldport. We’re incredibly proud to be able to put their product in front of all of you, and we’re grateful for the relationship we’ve built with them.

This week has been an exceptionally busy one. So busy, in fact, that we’ve sold right through our entire weekly dough order. Pacific Sourdough is currently at capacity with their production, so unfortunately we won’t have enough dough to offer pizza service tomorrow, Friday.

We’ll be back. We’re just working through one of those first-season growing pains that stings a little. We’re learning, adjusting, and figuring out how to keep up with all of you — and sometimes things are simply outside of our control.

We are hoping for a late start to pizza service Saturday and will keep you posted.

In the meantime, THANK YOU. The support, the packed days, the kind words and especially all of the Google reviews have boosted us far beyond what we ever expected this early on.

We’re going to adapt, evolve and overcome.
