We are a platform that wholly embraces diversity and inclusion. Stone Street Entertainment, LLC is based in Waldorf, Maryland. We currently provide artist management services and conduct live jazz and blues music events.

I finally to see my Babycakes trumpet Maurice Mobetta Brown ! I could not be more of him! He’s the trumpet player for Silk Sonic, Bruno Mars, and Anderson .Paak and so many others! I love him so! Exciting news to come!

Thank everyone who supported me and Dizzy. He’s taking his meds, eating good and he should have the staples removed from his little body in 10-14 days. Thank everyone who has called, messaged and a big Thsnk you to Carol & Dr Nick, Hazel Mitchell-Bell and Velvet Croker for supporting Dizzy’s surgery. Words cannot convey the feeling of appreciation! I went to my doctor last week and I lost 7 pounds. Today Wanda said you look like you lost more. I have truly been worried about my dogs. They are extremely important to me. I know some cannot understand but my babies are my world.

A very very special Thank You to Barry Brady for his kindness, brotherhood and humanity. I truly appreciate how he and Amy volunteered to help me with my event for Dizzy. They did it with love and when I asked them how much I was told we’re donating our time to help get your dog’s surgery. In today’s world it’s rare to find people who are willing to help out anyone and especially without expecting anything from it. Yesterday those who showed up loved the music. They saw g along, ate great food and they were very supportive. People I had never met came and said they not only wanted to help they wanted to start friendships with me because they wanted to support me as I journey through this cancer journey with Dizzy. One lady came from National Harbor just to support. It’s amazing the power of dog lovers. Another couple saw my flyer at the restaurant. The wife called and she brought things to help! She too said she wanted to keep in touch with me. Also I gotta thank a lot of folks: Mickie Hill who has been side by side with me throughout my career accident and Dizzy’s surgery, the lovely Ms Elle, the incredible Norrosha (who has reached out nearly every single day since we met),, Kevin Howard, Ethan Wilson, Kim Hickman, Carmen Montgomery, Carly Harvey, Carol Johnson, Wanda Underwood, Stacey Dunton, Dizzy’s doctor and nursing team at Paw Prints, Brenda Brooks, and anyone I may have forgotten to mention with my aging brain. Dizzy is healing and we are claiming victory over his body. He has a very large incision but he’s got the best spirits! Thank everyone for loving us with your kindness, prayers and support. God Bless Barry and Amy for their time and dedication.

Surgery was a success!!!! Lots of pain and medication to take. The medical team was outstanding! They were very supportive the entire day! They gave Dizzy lots of love! The melanoma mass was removed. Thank everyone that reached out today. It means so much. F**k cancer!

Join Us! Live Music Fundraiser!

My Baby Boy “ Dizzy Gillespie” has cancer and is scheduled for surgery. It’s overwhelming to say it aloud because I love my boys!
I hope you’ll come out to our surgery fundraiser on Sunday, December 17th! Thanks to my friends at The Magic Wok, Franconia, VA. 12:00 noon to 3 pm! No Cover to attend. I just need to get a RSVP from you with your names(s) and telephone number for confirmation. RSVP me at [email protected]

It’s easy to get to the restaurant and we will be there to greet you!!! The food is delicious and very affordable!

Plenty of seats, great food and a full bar of alcohol and non alcoholic beverages! You can grab a bite and hear Some soulful music by artists Barry & Amy Brady! There will be a donation box at the event. It will be lots of fun. It will help to get Dizzy surgery. Thanks to you all!

A day of love, respect and kindness. Two beautiful beams of bright light!

I haven’t been feeling my best at all lately and today these two had me laughing so hard that my cheeks still hurt! Both constantly check in on me and it feels so good to be genuinely loved.

On Sunday, December 17th Barry and his wife Amy are performing at my music fundraiser for my dog Dizzy who is undergoi ng surgery for Cancer. Kevin also let me know that he is supporting us. I’ve been truly devastated by his illness and other events that have happened in my life.

Reposting

This poignant message resonates with me for many reasons. There are dream killers amongst us and they will do anything to demise others and their efforts. My mindset: keep pushing. You have every right to dream and to invest in yourself.

When I first started curating events I met characters who were not kind. Even though I took not one red cent from them they still looked for reasons to be demonic in their movements. Some even by mistreating others at our events. Or by displaying a negative attitude. I learned a person’s true intentions will reveal themselves in time. Some will do things that show their true intentions.

Actions never lie about who we truly are. You may have a talent or gift but we all have an end (a date when we will be accountable for how we have treated each other). Many of us are at ages where no one should need to counsel us about our behaviors.

Ego is a monster. It destroys things. Yet, because of my faith and willingness to continue doing what I truly love God has continued to send me what I need to give me the courage to press on.

I want to believe what we do is truly for the all inclusive community: we embrace ALL races, ALL ages and ALL of people regardless of their sexual orientation. We place an emphasis on the “mature audience” but I’ve got guests who don’t care about being in a nightclub or a part of a social clique. They just want to come out have a nice time and return safely home. I’m that person too. I’m at an age where I don’t care about being in the “in crowd” or being a part of a crowd that may shun because I can’t do a certain dance or be willing kiss tail. There’s plenty of people that will. It’s not my crowd. Those aren’t my people. I only want spaces filled with genuine love and genuine kindness.

Remember this: you can have all the talent in the world but if you mistreat people because they aren’t from your clique or hood - your energy speaks volumes. I am not your person.

I had the pleasure of working with him at an event. He’s a remarkable human being with some buttery vocals! This would be a great gift for any coffee lover! This is US! The SSMUZIC family! Woke up to this picture in my messages. Hands down we have the best photographer. captured this beautifully. Stacey is missing due to personal reasons but we will replicate this soon as she returns! We do it all for the love of music and our music lovers. For us it’s gathering people together in a safe and classy atmosphere without all the cliches and nonsense. I’m proud of what we have accomplished. We continue to be work in progress.
