Southern Maryland Regional Choir
The Southern Maryland Regional Choir formally known as The Sounds of the D.M.V began in 2017 and was organized by Elder Maurice Hunt, who recruited 60 of the finest singers, musicians and directors of the premiere group within the DC, Maryland and Virginia region. After a 2 year break due to the covid pandemic, Maurice Hunt partnered with Phillip Carter in August
2022. With this partnership they decided to rename the choir to The Maryland Southern Regional Choir. Mission Statement
