Bamboo Owl

We own a small furniture shop in West Palm Beach Florida where we use the scraps from our furniture production to make jewelry, clocks and other artistic items. A few months back we decided to purchase a laser cutting and engraving machine to enhance our artistic endeavors, but we found that the size of machine that we needed was very expensive, so we decided to build up our own from parts we purchased online. It took several weeks but we finally got it up and running. We like to think of our products as a combination of art and technology. We work closely together on the designs, Jacklyn doing most of the drawings, while I do the computer and laser side. Jacklyn's background is as a portrait artist, but in the past couple of years she has been painting faces in a contemporary style, she works mainly in oils, but also acrylics, enameling and severely other mediums. The animals and designs that appear in our jewelry are hand drawn by Jacklyn, which we convert into computer digital art for the laser machine. My business has always been building things from wood. Everything from boats to guitars, and custom furniture and kitchens. Jacklyn and I have worked together from over five years now. We love the creative process it takes to refine our products, no matter what they are. Each and every design comes for both of our hearts. Our passion for making beautiful things is something we both enjoy, and hope to continue for many years to come.
