🎃👻 2026 RISING SUN CENTERS TRUNK OR TREAT! 🍬🧡

From the bottom of our hearts, we are SO grateful to everyone who came out to make our 2026 Trunk or Treat so incredibly special! 🧡 We truly think this might have been our best one yet! Looking out into a parking lot FULL of volunteers who took time out of their day to decorate, pass out candy and goodies, and do all the little things that brought smiles to our individuals’ faces was something special to see. 🥹🍬

Someone once told us that nothing we do is ever just a small event, and honestly, that’s because we put so much love into everything we do. With the amount of love and support surrounding Rising Sun Centers, you all make it that much easier and so worth every bit of it! ❤️ You continue to show up and SHOW OUT, and we are so lucky to have such an incredible community standing behind us.

Our individuals had the BEST time, and seeing their excitement, smiles, and pure happiness throughout the evening is exactly why we do what we do. And the weather was PERFECT, making an already amazing evening that much better! ☀️🎃

To every volunteer, family member, friend, and local business who helped make this event happen, you helped create something truly meaningful. Whether you donated, decorated, passed out treats, or simply showed up with a smile, you played a part in making this event one our individuals will remember. We hope you know how much your time, generosity, and support mean to our Rising Sun family! 🧡

This is what Rising Sun is all about: community, kindness, inclusion, and making sure our individuals feel just how loved they are. And if these pictures show anything, it’s that our community has plenty of love to go around! 🧡🍬👻

A big shoutout to Dylan Justice for donating his time and DJing our Trunk or Treat! 🎶 Having the music playing and everyone dancing along was such a fun addition to the event!

Thank you to Klana Koffee and Sips for coming out and having the best coffee to add to our spooktacular event!

We also had a special visit from The Firelands Falcons, who rolled in on a school bus with the Falcon mascot and a wonderful group of volunteers! 🚌🦅 It was so great having you all join us and be part of the fun! Thank you for showing up for our Rising Sun family!

Girls Group & Guys Group🥤☺️

Sometimes it’s nice to slow things down, sit around with a drink, and enjoy some good one-on-one conversations with friends!❤️

The girls group also made a special visit to our dear friend Alicia! ❤️ It was so wonderful getting to catch up and remind her just how much we love and miss her! 🥰

👻🎃 We had a spooktacular time at Vermilion United Church of Christ, Congregational! They really outdid themselves this time with all the fun activities planned! 🕷️🕸️ We made a spider craft, played Halloween bingo, took some silly pictures with fun props, and even wrapped up the fun with a dance party! 🪩

While one group was busy enjoying all the Halloween fun, another group was out volunteering and giving back to the community! ❤️

A huge thank-you to Vermilion United Church for putting together such a fun-filled day! We had a blast! 🧡👻

🖤🎶 Spirit Week: Thriller Throwback! 🕺🏻👻

Part 2

Thursday, everyone showed up and SHOWED OUT! We threw it back with some classic throwback vibes, fun looks, and lots of personality! Everyone got into the spirit and brought their own style to the day! 🎤🪩

We also played lots of spooky games that brought out everyone’s competitive side! 👻😂 There was plenty of laughter, excitement, and friendly competition as everyone joined in on the fun! We had a THRILLER of a time! 🕷️
