We're distraught that there isn't any Earnest this weekend!

Instead, you can join us for the Ocean State Renaissance Faire, this weekend Friday-Sunday!

The Contemporary Theater Company presents auditions for A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens, adapted and directed by Theodore Clement.

Adults and children are asked to prepare a 1 - 2 minute monologue of any kind.
You will be asked to deliver your monologue in both an American and British accent.

Children Auditions are for ages 10 and up.

Bah humbug! On a single magical night, Ebenezer Scrooge is whisked through the Christmases of past, present, and future by three spirits determined to change his heart and fate. Along the way, he rediscovers joy with the Fezziwigs, compassion with the Cratchits, and hope through Tiny Tim.

Next Thursday, August 20, join us at 7 pm for our annual Red Pants Micetro Improv in honor of our hear friend Jack Albanese! It's pay-what-you-can and all proceeds go toward our scholarship fund to help ensure everyone can take classes!

Jack was a vital part of the theater from 2012 until his death in 2016, playing in Micetro nearly every week, and almost always in a pair of red pants. We can think of no better way to honor him than by being silly and goofy while wearing his very favorite color! Come laugh with us! Whether or not you knew Jack, he would want you there!
