It’s been a minute since I have posted! I’ve been busy teaching Art 1 at a high school and I’m in love with these fall leaves. We began outside collecting gorgeous leaves 🍃 🍁 and then students had to value match all the colors with colored pencils and paper collage. I love the textures and of course all the rich colors.

There is no wrong way to create art!

My students will all tell you that this is my favorite thing to say in the studio. I am a mother of four who has seen the benefits of creativity in children’s lives. I am a big fan of process driven art...giving children the room to explore and create without the fear of not producing a perfect product. I also LOVE sharing other creative ideas for families on my Facebook and Instagram pages.
