Renaissance Centre to host “America’s Sweethearts” July 1, tickets still available

WAKE FOREST, NC – You’re invited to celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre with “America’s Sweethearts” on Wednesday, July 1, at 7:30 p.m.

A charming, vintage vocal trio, “America’s Sweethearts” deliver polished three-part harmonies, stylish period costumes, and a love for the timeless music that helped define our nation. Featuring swing, jazz, and Broadway favorites, their performance honors American musical heritage with warmth, energy, and heart.

Audiences of all ages will enjoy this nostalgic and uplifting tribute to the sounds that shaped generations.

The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre is inviting filmmakers to submit their films for the 2027 Wake Forest Film Festival!

Films may be submitted via FilmFreeway at https://filmfreeway.com/WakeForestFilmFestival.

The website includes film screening fees and submission requirements.

Scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 5-7, 2027, the WFFF will spotlight passionate, creative, and thought-provoking movies by some of today's most promising and accomplished local, national, and international filmmakers.

The Renaissance Centre is also seeking volunteers to screen and judge film submissions for the 2027 Wake Forest Film Festival.

Kick back to the sounds of summer with The Embers, 2022 Carolina Beach Music Awards Group of the Year. As pioneers of the iconic “Beach Music” sound, The Embers helped create a soundtrack synonymous with coastal Carolina nights. Their feel-good rhythms promise an evening filled with music, dance, and pure summertime fun at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre.

Have you stopped in to view our current art exhibition in the Renaissance Centre Arts Annex? Experience the group mixed media show featuring work from Delphine Peller, Ramsey Rickart, and Robyn Scott through Thursday, June 4. Artwork is available for purchase directly through the artists.

The Arts Annex is open during regular business hours Monday through Friday 9am-12pm, 1pm-5pm. We hope to see you soon!
