Meet Maria, the heart behind MK Creative Arts Studio.

With a lifelong background in ballroom and Latin dance, Maria has spent years teaching, training, and sharing her passion for movement with students of all ages. While her professional career is rooted in healthcare and public health, dance has always remained a central part of her life.

Maria created MK Creative Arts Studio to be more than just a dance space. She envisioned a welcoming home for creativity, connection, wellness, and self-expression where artists, dancers, instructors, and community members could come together and grow.

From private lessons and wedding choreography to group classes and creative community events, Maria’s goal is simple: to help people feel confident, inspired, and supported through movement and creativity. ✨

💃🍷 One of my favorite things about teaching dance is getting to share it with the community beyond the studio walls.

Whether it's inside MK Creative Arts Studio or out in Downtown Wake Forest at places like Unwined on White, I love creating opportunities for people to connect, laugh, learn something new, and experience the joy of dance together.
