After a two-year COVID hiatus, Ballet Hawaii is proud to bring world-class dance back to Honolulu with the Stars of American Ballet® at the Hawaii Theatre Center on Saturday, March 12, 2022.

The Stars of American Ballet® performance will support Ballet Hawaii’s mission of teaching, presenting, producing dance in Hawaii. Tickets range in price from $35-$85 and can be purchased at https://www.hawaiitheatre.com/events/stars-of-american-ballet/.

This fast-paced performance pairs premier choreography with commanding athleticism.

FREE Trial Class for Tweens & Teens Beginner Ballet! This trial class will also include a 15-minute Q&A with a Ballet Hawaii teacher for prospective students to ask questions about training in ballet as well as their individual goals for ballet. *Note: Placement/trial classes are normally $20.

Ballet Hawaii's Tweens & Teens Beginner Ballet class at our West Oahu location is now enrolling new students. This class is perfect for anyone aged 9-15 with limited to no formal ballet training. Our teachers will instill the basics of classical ballet and provide a solid foundation for continued recreational training or transition to our progressive level classes.

Ms. Caitlin's Ballet 1 students recently transitioned to training with the barre! This is a huge milestone and accomplishment for young dancers. Building the discipline, focus, and work ethic to begin barre work is no easy feat for these tiny ballerinas. They know they have worked hard to earn this privilege and they treat it accordingly! 👏👏👏

Ballet Hawaii's Ballet 4 students are 9 to 11 years old and attend class 3x per week. They spent the last year in Ballet 3 learning the proper anatomical placement of the body and reinforcing good movement patterns that have prepared them for the more rigorous training they are now receiving in Ballet 4. This year, they will work to refine their technique while learning more challenging skills and more complicated combinations of movement. But what are they most excited about?
This week these dancers have embarked on a formal pre-pointe training program that will prepare them for the challenge of pointe work in the next few years!
