Hello friends! It’s June 1st and we are here with an announcement about our next offering. Here it goes! Mobile Art & Sensory Experiences!
How it Works…

Gather a small group of 2-6 great friends, family members or creative cousins, walking to 8 years old, and create an awesome, PRIVATE creative experience right in your backyard or personal space. From art centered homeschool lessons to playgroups and small birthday parties we’re excited to customize the perfect art & sensory based experience, sure to make your little ones squeal with delight.

At each session our awesome team will come to your home completely equipped for a fun filled, sensory rich, high energy creative session full of art inspired fun.

Upon booking & purchase hosts will receive an email with registration form for families to complete and return prior to confirmation. Groups will be able to choose from a list of fun and engaging themes for their group at booking. Special requests are available and encouraged but will require additional notice for booking.

Hi there Monkeypod friends and family. We have missed you more than we can truly express during this unprecedented and uncertain time. We apologize for our silence; we’ve been wrestling with some big decisions and even bigger feelings.
It is with very heavy hearts that we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of our beloved Monkeypod Art & Creative Studio permanently. Trust us when we say the decision did not come easily. We’ve shed our weight in tears and yet we know this is the correct decision for us all.
As you know, Monkeypod’s foundation is built on positive social interactions among children, families, and staff in a developmentally appropriate setting through unique and exciting art, sensory, and play experiences. Due to new guidelines and regulations surrounding Covid-19, we will no longer be able to support these pillars which are the foundation of our business. Simply put, we won’t be able to do what we’ve been doing in a safe way and we aren’t willing to chance anyone’s safety for the sake of fun.
While this is both surreal and heart breaking, we want to take this time to look back and celebrate all of the wonderful moments we’ve had over the past 4 years! It has been nothing short of amazing to serve the Maui community by bringing joy and laughter through art and creative play. We will never forget what it was like to be in this space, doing what we love with people we love. Despite the closure of our physical space, don’t you fret because you haven’t seen the last of us and our colorful, messy brand of fun. Between crying, cleaning, and facing the existential void, we’ve found some time to work behind the scenes to create some lemonade out of this pile of lemons. Please stay tuned, we’re set to release our next offering on June 1st.

Whew it’s been a rough couple of weeks, hasn’t it friends? We have been wrestling with some big choices here at the studio and feeling some big feelings. We’ve felt scared and anxious, but today we feel confident. We feel confident that if we all do our part with SWIFT and SERIOUS ACTION we can have a positive impact on flattening the curve of COVID-19 here on Maui. With that in mind, we are CLOSING ALL MONKEYPOD SERVICES effective immediately and until we are on the other side of this situation. We care so very much about the safety and well-being of our kiddos, their families, and our community that we will have no regrets on the way we handled our collective safety.

As we navigate this uncertain time, we’ll occasionally share fun and easy art and sensory rich activities you can do at home with your keiki. We sincerely look forward to getting messy, being creative and hanging out with you folks again when we are on the other side of this situation. Stay safe, we love you! 💖🐒🎨

We realized we haven’t reminded you about Keiki Happier Hour in awhile and that is a darn shame! Each Wednesday from 4-6, we invite families to come play, mingle, dance, paint and create together in our sweet studio. It’s the best mid-week boredom buster and the perfect excuse to simply relax and just have fun with your kiddos. And the best part is that the mess is on us-you just skip on home to dinner, bath and bedtime! #🤣
