Maui Fair The Maui Fair is an icon of family tradition for Maui County and the largest, most longstanding and anticipated event of the year on Maui.

The most anticipated event on Maui comes alive each year for four fun-filled days. This year, the traditional parade, which is also Maui’s largest, opens the Fair on Thursday, October 2, with rides, food, first-rate entertainment which will continue through the evening of Sunday, October 5, 2025. ttracts both locals and visitors alike to enjoy an alcohol-free, smoke-free and drug-free family-oriented educational event that features multi-cultural food, first-rate entertainment, E.K. Fernandez Fun Zone, plus horticulture, orchid, livestock, homemaking, and art exhibits and competitions. Make sure to check out the unique and innovative products in the Hawaii Products and Services tent. With its beginnings in 1916 the Fair has become “A Timeless Tradition” embraced by businesses as well as individuals who as a community help perpetuate this valuable community event. It is the primary source of funding for many of Maui’s nonprofit and community organizations and relies entirely on corporate or local business sponsorship, local donations, and volunteers for support. The 98th Maui County Fair drew more than 115,000 fairgoers to the War Memorial Stadium Complex in Wailuku over four days from Oct. 2-5, 2025. It marked a return of the event following a six year absence.
