Have you ever wanted to learn how to tattoo? This is your chance! Learn everything from the history of tattoos, to how to take pictures of your finished work. This is not an apprenticeship, you will not be cleaning toilets, tracing flash, and answering phones. The goal is to teach you the skills and knowledge you need to be a successful tattoo artist. There will be 5 weeks of class in which you will learn all about the tattoo industry, including red flags to look out for while looking for a studio, and how to present yourself as an artist to clients and other professionals. After the 5-week course it will be time to tattoo where you will work in an actual tattoo environment. You will be interacting with clients and building a portfolio. By the end of the course you will have a portfolio of at least 10 tattoos that you have done yourself. There will be no more than three to four students per class to ensure everyone has one-on-one time with the instructor.
