The WDC drama banquet was after school today! We had such a great time with plate after plate of delicious pizza, breadsticks and pickles (looking at you, Logan!)!

This was a really special group of actors and crew members. We have to say goodbye to an exceptionally talented group of seniors. (We had 15 seniors participating drama!) They have left a legacy of hard work and joy. Lily Peterson created plaques for the One Act seniors! That act of kindness showcases why this group of seniors will so missed!

We even started planning on next year’s play!

Thank you to Zach Kelderman and everyone at Pizza Ranch for hosting our crew. It was amazing!

It’s a wrap on The Lonely Lighthouse! We have had an amazing one act season. We want to thank every school who attended the competion yesterday. We have a very talented section. We also want to say break a leg to the talented Fergus Falls cast and crew. Their play was exceptional.

I want to give some shout outs:
1) Our amazing seniors have been the backbone of this program for many years. We are going to miss you all.
2) This cast and crew have been incredible. From the hilarious cast to the incredibly creative crew to the amazing booth, I couldn’t ask for better! (I was finally able to sneak some pictures of our booth. Our play wouldn’t be as fun as it was without them!)
3) Thank you to everyone who previewed our show. Your support made our play even better.

WDC is hosting the Section 6A One Act Play Competiton on Saturday, January 31st.

Come on out and enjoy some amazing one act plays from area schools!

There is no cost to attend.

WDC will perform at 7pm on Thursday, January 29

AND

at 11:15am on Saturday, January 31st for the 6A Section Competition.

Both shows are at Memorial Auditorium and are free to the public!
