I have been seeing a lot of likes for this page and I'm sorry I'm not keeping up with it as well as I should. Waldo's original purpose was to bring quality acoustic music to Waco. In the last few years the music scene in Waco has grown to the point that Waldos isn't really needed as much as it was. For years we kept bringing Christine Albert and Chris Gage because they always packed the house and produced donations for Planned Parenthood. Then covid came along and shut everything down. We may start up again in some limited way but to be frank Waldo's could be a money loser and we cannot afford to bleed money these days.

I have talked with Christine and we agree that because of Covid it is too soon to crowd into a relatively small space. We'll be looking for a Waldos opportunity when things are healthier.

For those checking in to see what's going on with Waldos I can't tell you much. We do not have a date set. We are usually Chris and Christines first friday gig of each year but nothing is scheduled yet.

Albert and Gage did their usual terrific performance at Waldos January the 18th. They'll be back next year.

Next Friday the 18th. Albert and Gage. Doors open at 7:30,show starts at 8:00. Suggested donation $15. That's 4209 N. 27th at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
