Starting 8/31, Ravi will have a new schedule! Guests can plan to see Ravi on Saturdays, weather permitting.

This schedule change allows our other orangutans more opportunities to spend time on the habitat and enjoy it, while giving each animal time and space based on their individual needs.

As always, animal schedules are subject to change based on weather, animal care, and the choices of the animals themselves. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you on a Saturday visit with Ravi 🦧

A at is the perfect back to school treat! 🐧

Immerse yourself in a once in a lifetime experience where you will be face to face with our colony of African Penguins. One of our trained zookeepers will provide answers and in depth information about our feathered friends and their wild counterparts during an up close and personal feed session. Encounters are available through November, Thursday through Saturday at 10:30am.

Join us for our 2026 Su***de Awareness & Mental Health Resource Fair to connect with local organizations, learn about available resources, and help raise awareness around mental health and su***de prevention.

Join us for one of Waco’s favorite nights of the year! The 15th Annual Brew at the Zoo, presented by JRBT , on October 10th🍻

From 6 to 10 p.m., sample brews from local breweries while you stroll the Zoo after hours. Grab a bite from local food trucks, enjoy musical entertainment throughout the Zoo, and dance the night away with the Sloppy Joe Band!
