The HOT Livestock Show & Competitive Events is a Department of the HOT Fair & Rodeo in Waco, TX.

The Heart O’ Texas Livestock Show is held in conjunction with the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, Texas. The facility’s mission is to produce events for education, entertainment, and agricultural experiences at the premier multi-use facility while giving back through youth scholarships and a positive economic impact to Central Texas. Heart O’ Texas are proud to offer year-round opportunities for youth development. From livestock shows to contests, including an Academic Rodeo, in 2022 HOT awarded over $110,000 in scholarships and over $95,000 in premiums.

Today is the entry deadline for 2026 Heart O' Texas Livestock Show! Late Entries will begin September 1.

Entries are not considered complete unless they have been submitted online on or before August 31. All payment must be postmarked on or before August 31.

High school students who are members of Texas FFA or Texas 4-H can grow their ag advocacy skills and take home prizes through the Speak Out For Agriculture (SOFA) Challenge.

The contest will be held Oct. 3-4 at the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo.

Registration closes Aug. 31.
