I love this event at the TMTA yearly convention! My students get to rehearse with other follow students, then perform together in a large auditorium. Just wait until you see them put at least 10 grand pianos on stage! My students love performing, and they all gain such a wonderful experience from it.

Here is another local association ensemble spotlight. TMTA has the largest piano ensemble program in the United States.

Here is the Garland MTA ensemble at the TMTA annual conference this summer. The students were dressed in space costumes and performed “Space Jive” by Susan Staples Bell.

Stay tuned to see more local association ensemble pictures. There were over 1100 students performing in piano ensembles at our 2026 TMTA annual conference.
