Cultivate a heart of gratitude 💖

I’ve been working on trying to be more grateful and joyful and less critical and complaining. Man, it’s HARD. When I heard this quote in church on Sunday, I loved the use of the word cultivate.

Cultivate - work to acquire or develop

For me, choosing to be grateful is the first step in choosing joy in any circumstance. Focusing on gratitude takes work. You have to choose gratitude over jealousy, complaining, discontentment, worry, and other things that try to steal your joy.

You guys have loved the keychains so much, I’m out of stock of multiple designs and all of my wood lanyards!! To catch up on orders and making lanyards, I’ve temporarily taken keychains out of the shop. Don’t worry, more are on order and more lanyards are being made!!

Long time no post, my friends!! I’m happy to be back on the gram after a much needed break!!

Life update: we now have a beautiful baby girl who is such a sweet addition to our family and the best gift we could ever have imagined. God is good!! Newborn life is hard, so I took a step back from Woods + Ivy to focus on her and our family, but I’m slowly getting back in the swing of things!

This piece is an oldie but goodie for my shop. It’s one of my personal favorites - both in colorways and meaning. His mercies are new every morning!!

Guess who’s backkkkkk!!!! Harold the Happy Sloth 😍

He’s probably my favorite Christmas illustration (other than my reindeer) so I had to bring him back to the feed! Plus, there are a lot of new faces around here that haven’t met him yet!!
