Cian Porter. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, and now based in Jacksonville, Florida.
Cian Porter is an accomplished professional Irish dancer whose career has taken him to stages around the world. Throughout his career, Cian has performed on stages across the globe, for the President of the United States at the U.S. Capitol, the President of Germany in Berlin, and as a featured performer at Expo 2020 Dubai. A full-time cast member of Riverdance, he has toured internationally for the company’s 25th and 30th Anniversary productions and continues to perform with Riverdance today. Cian now resides in Jacksonville, Florida, where he coaches at his family’s Kavanagh Porter Academy, with locations in the USA and Ireland. He works with dancers at both competitive and professional levels, helping the next generation develop their technique, confidence, discipline, and love for the art form. Cian is excited to return to the stage with Kerry Irish Productions’ An Irish Christmas for his fourth year, bringing his experience, energy, and passion for Irish dance to audiences throughout California this holiday season.
