Make room for a Christmas evening together in Arroyo Grande.
An Irish Christmas comes to Forbes Hall at the Clark Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, December 17, and Friday, December 18, 2026, at 7:30 PM both nights.

Gather your family, plan a girls’ night or make it a date with dinner and a show. As seen on PBS, this celebration brings award-winning Irish dance, live music, holiday songs and storytelling together in an evening rooted in the traditions of Christmas in Ireland.

Here is a relaxed plan for either night:

Optional afternoon: Meet at Café Andreini around 2 PM, then explore the Village and Swinging Bridge while there is daylight.

5 PM: Enjoy dinner at Rooster Creek Tavern, reserve a wood-fired meal at Ember, or meet friends at Mason Bar & Kitchen. Leave time for dessert with dinner.

6:30 PM: Arrive at the Clark Center. Plan transport from your restaurant to the theatre; onsite parking is included with your ticket.

7:30 PM: Let Christmas take the stage.

Afterward: Head home with a new memory, or confirm Rooster Creek’s bar hours before planning an adult after-show stop. Late kitchen service is not guaranteed.
Choose the evening that suits your people and make your plans around the seats you want to share.

Give yourselves a Christmas evening worth making time for.

On Saturday, December 19, An Irish Christmas returns to San Diego’s Balboa Theatre, with guest dancers from Clan Rince School of Irish Dance joining us for a second year.

After sharing the Balboa stage with us in 2025, this San Diego dance family returns to bring a special hometown connection to the celebration. Gather your family, plan a girls’ night or make it a date with dinner and a show.

As seen on PBS, An Irish Christmas brings award-winning Irish dance, live music, holiday carols and storytelling together in a festive theatrical experience rooted in the traditions of Christmas in Ireland.

Your evening, made simple:

5 PM: Meet for an early dinner in the Gaslamp Quarter. Try The Old Spaghetti Factory for a pasta dinner with the family, or reserve a table at Water Grill for a special night out.

Before the show: If time allows, stop at Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop for a sweet treat.

6:30 PM: Arrive at the Balboa Theatre, giving yourselves time to get settled before the 7:30 PM performance.

Afterward: Head home with a new Christmas memory, or keep the conversation going over a late supper at Water Grill.
