Amazing trip this past weekend for me (and Fulbright Arts). We went to Yosemite National park for the first time.

We took my Mom and Aunt along as they had been there before, but only drove through the first time years ago. If you have never been to this national park, it is a MUST SEE on your bucket list. You will understand the majesty and beauty need to conserve places like this for all Americans. This is an amazing natural WONDER of our world

And of course, for me as an artist, I found so many things inspiring to paint I exhausted my cell phone battery several times taking so many photos!🤭

Truer than true.

"Painting is easy when you don't know how, but very difficult when you do" Edgar Degas.

The journey of an artist reveals hidden challenges that only materialise as they gain knowledge and experience in their craft. As an artist learns more about painting, they become aware of the complexities and intricacies, nuances and aspirations that makes the process more difficult than it initially appeared.

Renoir's final words, when talking about painting at the age of 78, were "I think I'm beginning to learn something about it.”
