It looks like we are in for a wild ride this spring:

1. High vibratory, grace-filled priestess energy pours through our systems in a dream-like, watery way (Vesta, Neptune, Sun and Moon)
This is exciting! Neptune and Pisces energy opens us to watery, dream-like, other-worldly territory that has the capacity to take us past our left-brain, rational, logical ways of thinking and into more mystical and creative ways of comprehending the world around us. This is especially potent given the fact that Mercury went retrograde in Pisces just yesterday.
The trick with this energy is to stay aligned with the wisdom in these realms and not fall victim to the illusory, delusional nature that is often considered to be the shadow side of this energy.
One of our saving graces, should we choose to stay aligned with the wisdom of this energy, is Vesta and her ability to keep the soul fires lit (despite the massive amount of water here) and help us come into focus with what's truly important to us. Her sacred flame helps us to zero in on our deepest truths and most authentic heart-aligned, soul-filled desires.
Tips for working with this energy ...
Find spaces and meditations to support you in letting go of left-brain logical rational thought to transport you into higher realms of consciousness
Pay attention to your night dreams and day-dreams
Water, water, water ... drink lots of water, get in the water - be it a bath, the ocean or the shower. Get in it and let the creative aspect of your mind wander and dream.
Take any dreams, creative insights or meditative visions to your inner flame and ask to see the truth around them. Is it just your unconscious puking things out or is there wisdom here? Hold it all to Vesta's fire of truth.
Vesta is an amazing archetype to work with during this new moon cycle, especially when it comes to deciphering deep wisdom from unconscious vomits. 2. The Dark Distorted Masculine demands our attention (Pluto, Saturn, S. Node)
This is an undeniably strong energy in this current astrological cycle - one that I'm so curious to see unfold both in our individual lives as well as in the collective. One way that I'm seeing and feeling this translate into our current reality is through the purification of power dynamics. Of course, money and s*x as power structures come into play.. but there are MANY other forms of power that we often forget about that are asking to be looked at during this time.
This energy is asking that we get cleaner in our wielding of power in all of its forms; spiritual power, physical power, meta-physical power, psychic power, manifesting power ... basically anything and everything that has influence on something or someone. That's a lot!!
The trick here is to not let yourself off the hook by thinking things like, "Power is a patriarchal thing." or "Money and s*x aren't my thing so I'm all good with power." I call bullsh*t! Every single person on this planet can get cleaner with power...
Whether it be stepping into your own power, becoming more conscious of unconscious power dynamics at play, or something else, we can ALL calibrate to a higher way of being and expressing ourselves when it comes to power. We all have opportunities to bring more divinity and light to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd chakras!
Think sacred empowerment, authentic empowerment, heart-aligned soul-aligned empowerment. That's what's on offer here!
Tips for working with this energy:
Reflect on power and get real about current power dynamics in your life. Where or with whom do you feel unhealthy power dynamics? Where do things feel out of balance or off-kilter?
Do a bit of research on the gifts of the Dark Masculine and what an archetypal energy like Pluto (aka Hades, God of the Underworld) can do for you. We've done a few podcasts on the Gifts of the Dark Masculine in the past. You can do a search on our blog for them if you're interested. The category, "Opening to and Working with the Dark Masculine" will give you the best results.
Again let left-brain, logical mind fall away and invite deeper more hidden truths to arise around power-plays, power-dynamics, misuse of power, disempowerment etc. to come into your awareness.
Have discussions with those who know you well and ask how they see you in relation to power. Have they ever seen you playing it small? Or shrink in someone else's presence? Are there certain dynamics that seem off-balance with others? When do they witness you in your full power? When do they see you in strongest alignment?
3. Radical awakenings for the collective with the support of Kali (Uranus into Ta**us conjunct Kali)
You've probably heard a TON of stuff being said about how big Uranus moving into Ta**us is, so I won't harp on that too much here. I'll simply say that this aspect is asking for us to upgrade our relationship to the physical world; to our bodies, to mother nature, to the earth, to our resources, etc.
The aspect that most astrologers aren't talking about (because they don't hang out with Kali) is that she's conjunct Uranus as he moves into Ta**us. This adds an extra zing to the lightning bolts of awakening that he's throwing! It's like they're now coming with the flavor of the Dark Goddess' sword of truth... demanding that the feminine (even the most lost, repressed, and hidden feminine aspects) be taken into account in our upgrading of social structures and our relationship to the earth and our resources.
Amen for this!! It's like she's standing with her sword (next to the lightning-bolt throwing Uranus) saying, "You're not leaving me out of this revolution! When the recalibration, the change and the new ways of doing things are being negotiated, I'll be sitting at the table representing what's been hidden, lost and repressed in the feminine for decades upon decades. You bring the lightning bolt, Uranus, and I'll bring the sacred fires ... TOGETHER we WILL create change!"
I love this aspect! It's radical, transformative, collective in nature and also so very needed if we're going to start honoring Mother Nature, our Planet and our resources in a way that supports the generations to come.
And because it feels so very collective, I'll skip the tips for working with this energy... other than to leave us with the following reflective questions:
What's your part to play in the grand scheme of this?
What collective change are you passionate about?
Is there anything you're called to do in terms of upgrading your relationship to Mother Nature, the earth, your body or your resources?
What glorious energy we're all standing in! May we allow for the insights from the Pisces, Neptune energy to bubble up within. May we feel and be guided by Vesta's sacred inner flame. May we purify and awaken to even more heart-aligned, soul-aligned, authentic empowerment.
