This is a new event and has been a headache already. No signs about the event anywhere in the hotel. No one to direct vendors when they got here. Half the tables are empty.

We’re all set up. I have my fingers crossed that I’m wrong and that they did advertising elsewhere and people actually show up.

Find me here Saturday morning doing demonstrations on how I build my flowers petal by petal. I’ll have roses and book bouquets available for sale. I also put together “stencils” for purchase to take home to make your own roses.

MARKET HAPPENING - We love a good market morning, and this one comes with paper roses.

Join us this Saturday, May 30th on the Crafters Plaza as Tanya Sykes with Let Me Try it Crafters leads our DIY Workshop. She'll teach the art of making delicate roses from the pages of old books, recycled, reshaped, and brought to life as a keepsake bouquet.

The demo runs ongoing all morning, so pop in anytime. Perfect for beginners, book lovers, and anyone who wants to try something new while supporting local. Come for the veggies, stay for the creativity.
