Symphonicity

Symphonicity Symphonicity is the symphony orchestra for the largest city in Virginia, the City of Virginia Beach.

As the symphony orchestra of Virginia Beach, Symphonicity resides in the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts and offers a variety of classical, pops, and children's concerts, complete with interactive experiences and concert effects! We are a proud member of the resident companies at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts with more than 200 volunteer orchestra musicians and choristers who p

erform for the love of music each year. We offer five masterworks performances, multiple pops concerts, an annual sing-along of Handel's Messiah, an annual children's concert and dozens of small chamber performances throughout our community. OUR MISSION

Symphonicity, the premier community orchestra of Virginia Beach, is an exceptionally talented and diverse group of musicians who voluntarily provide innovative music performances and educational opportunities for the community.

In honor of EARTH DAY, we share this mesmerizing excerpt from "Deep Field: The Impossible Magnitude of our Universe" by Eric Whitacre, as we performed it in February 2022. May it remind us of the awe-inspiring home we have here with our world and the critical responsibility to cherish it...
