Please join us in celebrating this year’s Virginia Musical Theatre / Tom Felton Memorial Scholarship recipient, Avelyn Bollen!

Avelyn will attend Coastal Carolina University this fall, where she’ll study Musical Theatre as she continues pursuing her passion for the performing arts.

Presented in memory of Tom Felton — a lifelong champion of the arts — this scholarship supports promising young performers as they take their next step toward the stage.

We are so proud of Avelyn and can’t wait to see where her talent and hard work take her next. 🌟

Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical, Avenue Q is a musical comedy featuring puppets and human actors with music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx and a book by Jeff Whitty.

Many of these talented students may look familiar. Several have performed in our productions, and we’re always excited to see young artists continue to grow and shine.
