Alanton Baycliff Recreation Center The Alanton BayCliff Recreation Center is a swim and recreation club located in Virginia Beach, Virgi We are open to all! It offers a family in the neighborhood!

ABRC is nestled in acres of beautiful woods in the Alanton neighborhood off Mill Dam Road. It serves the immediate neighborhoods of Alanton, Baycliff, Brighton on the Bay, Linkhorn Cove, and Linkhorn Shores, and branches out to other members from Great Neck Road residents, all the way to the North End. Run by an all volunteer board, our community pool offers more than a pool. Lasting friendships are made here and children grow up together. Parents and adults grow close here, too!

☀️ Summer is in full swing at ABRC Pool! 🏊‍♂️🌊

Starting Sunday, June 14th, we’re officially moving to our Summer Hours schedule:

🕚 Sun–Thurs: 11am–8pm
🌙 Fri–Sat: 11am–9pm

And beginning Monday, June 15th:

🌅 Sunrise Swim Club is back!
Adults-only lap swimming will be available Monday–Friday from 6:15–7:15am (weather permitting).

Calling all ABRC Dads, Dudes and Bros!

🍻 ABRC Beer Club kicks off tonight, June 4th, from 8–11pm!

Every other Thursday night, pool dads are invited to hang out, relax, and enjoy some good company at the pool. Bring a few of your favorite adult beverages — or just a soda or water — and come catch up with friends old and new.

No agenda. No pressure. Just a great excuse to unwind together this summer.

The pool officially opens today at 5:00 PM, and we can’t wait to kick off another amazing summer with all of you.

Tonight is also the first Grill N Chill of the season!
Come hungry, bring your appetite, and enjoy one of the best ABRC traditions.

Grill N Chill is BACK starting Friday, May 22nd!
Every Friday from 5–7pm, our pool turns into the place to be — great food, great people, and that unbeatable summer vibe.

This isn’t just dinner… it’s a long-standing ABRC tradition powered by our members.

But traditions don’t run themselves — they run on volunteers.

👉 We need 3-4 volunteers each week to keep Grill N Chill going strong.
Let’s keep this summer favorite alive together!
