The back story of Miles Davis: In Heaven

Miles Davis: In Heaven was my attempt at painting the perfect portrait using the cover album photo of "Some Kind of Blue" I felt the energy of Miles Davis trying to get the best note possible from the trumpet he was blowing in. I wanted to capture that intensity and detail in the photo. This piece marks the times I was starting hemodialysis and to pass the time I got more into digital painting. I did this piece in Adobe Photoshop using a Wacom Tablet and stylus.
