The other day walking the beach a felicitous shell got my attention, and this is my little doodle of it. The luminous quality of the shell as the sun passed through really caught my eye. I think I almost captured it. ☺️🐚🌊

"Uplifting"

And she is finished. This triptych has been a journey and a joy. What makes the piece especially compelling is the composition. The outer panels draw you inward, guiding your eyes toward the glowing focal point in the center panel — a burst of sunlight filtering through the leaves. It creates both motion and calm at the same time.
The work is contemporary yet organic: bold enough to anchor a modern room, but rooted in nature and tranquility. There’s also a subtle emotional quality to it — wonder, perspective, and the quiet experience of being small beneath towering trees.

“Looking up.” 🌿✨

I’ve been working on this textured triptych inspired by standing beneath the trees and watching the light break through the leaves. I wanted to capture that feeling of stillness, movement, and perspective all at once — like pausing for a breath in the middle of nature.

Still adding details and layers, but I’m loving how the colors and palette knife texture are coming together so far. 💙💚💛

Who doesn't want to meet a purple unicorn in a meadow full of wildflowers? First time using gold gilding and first time painting a unicorn LOL!

I worked with gouache paint today. This painting is "Sugar Bombs" best cherry tomatoes I've had 😍. I can't wait to frame this one.

Framed and hung. The energy in the sky is balanced by the serenity of the water. This painting was a long journey and I'm so enjoying seeing it on the wall.
