Rick Hockman is one of the most popular ballroom dance instructors in the Virginia Beach area. Rick specializes in social dance instruction and offers classes to suit any level dancer. His energetic style is designed to assist dancers of all levels in developing their abilities and techniques and helps students to rapidly progress through the skill levels. We are a great group of people who love t

o dance and have fun! Consistent quality instruction, combined with a friendly upbeat learning environment have made his lessons popular among dancers throughout Hampton Roads. Even self-proclaimed "I can't dance" students have had great success in Rick's classes. With an uncanny ability to immediately identify different ways of teaching steps, students of every age are having fun learning to dance. We welcome singles or couples to join classes. Couples can choose to stay as a pair in group lessons; however, we encourage all students to rotate and dance with different partners. By doing this, dancers are exposed to those with greater and lesser talents and it improves their ability to both lead and follow. Dancing with others is fun and makes you a better dancer. MONDAYS
Beginner 1 - Waltz & Foxtrot - $15 pp per class
Beginner 2 - Rumba and ChaCha - $15 pp per class
WEDNESDAYS

Intermediate - Mambo and Single Swing - $25 pp per class
Advanced - Samba and Hustle - $25 pp per class

Please note that previous discounts that have been featured over the last 6 months have now expired. All classes have reverted to normal pricing. Please take into account pricing and your level of dance when deciding what classes you should take.
