It’s ok to be angry and let it out in a safe environment. It’s why I’ve created this safe place with a Zen/prayer room and everything.
It’s not ok to bottle up your emotions like those feelings don’t exist.
Grief and pain are universal connectors; we will ALL have pain and loss in our lives.
It’s become a societal norm to allow a short time to grieve after a loss and then get “back to life” rather quickly to “help” us cope. The problem? Time moves on but grief never does. This path of resisting grief causes pain, angst, tension, and so much more. You may be feeling this. I do from many years of doing the
“norm”.
So, what to do?
Create a new way of living life WITH your grief.
Grief and pain require a dedicated safe space and time to be witnessed, remembered, and honored. Your body and heart require movement, breath, and sound so emotions can move through rather than getting “stuck” as tension, pain, or dis-ease.
It’s ok to be angry and let it out in a safe environment. It’s not ok to bottle up your emotions like those feelings don’t exist.
