Low Angle Photography

Low Angle Photography I seek to capture that which is candid, that which is spontaneous, and that which is beautiful. We look at photography purely as an art form.

As such, we seek to master this art form. You can only master an art or craft through trial and error, successes and failures. Shooting with film, as we do, makes our mistakes more painful and we learn best through pain. We do no post production editing. We capture the image and get the film developed. The way we see it, the skin imperfections and lighting errors are part of the craft and the lear

ning experience. They all help to tell the story of the subject in the photo and add to its character. Airbrushed models and whitened teeth are off putting to us and we find that too many photographers use them as a crutch. It is important that you be comfortable in front of the camera so we will spend some time getting to know you and listening to what you want the final product to be. For many reasons, my photography has been on the back burner for some years now. I’d like to change that.

I have tasked myself with doing a dedicated photo shoot at least once a month for 2025.
The defunct pay phone shoot (while it was done in February) was my January assignment.

Now I need your help. What are some subjects, themes, or locations that I should put on my list?

I drive past this defunct payphone several times a month and I've been meaning to take some photos. It's such a rare thing to see these days and I just wish it could tell us some of it's stories.
